- Belt of Truth: I fasten the belt of truth around my waist, trusting in Your Word as my foundation and guidance (Ephesians 6:14, John 14:6).
- Breastplate of Righteousness: I wear the breastplate of righteousness, knowing that through You I am made righteous and protected from deception (Ephesians 6:14, 2 Thessalonians 1:5).
- Feet Fitted with the Gospel of Peace: I prepare my feet with readiness from the gospel of peace, walking in Your purpose and turning obstacles into opportunities (Ephesians 6:15, Psalms 37:23).
- Shield of Faith: I lift the shield of faith to extinguish all fiery darts of doubt, fear, and temptation (Ephesians 6:16).
- Helmet of Salvation: I place the helmet of salvation on my head, taking every thought captive to Your obedience and renewing my mind (Ephesians 6:17).
- Sword of the Spirit: I wield the sword of the Spirit, Your Word, to counter lies and speak truth boldly (Ephesians 6:17).
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, so I may walk in victory, trusting Your love and guidance in every area of my life. Amen (Ephesians 6:18, Proverbs 3:5)
Daily Practice
Praying the Armor of God daily helps believers:
- Stand firm in faith and resist spiritual attacks.
- Align thoughts, actions, and decisions with God’s truth and righteousness.
- Experience peace, confidence, and protection in daily life.
- Use Scripture actively as a spiritual weapon against deception and fear. By intentionally putting on the Armor of God through prayer, Christians symbolically and spiritually equip themselves to face challenges, temptations, and adversities with God’s strength and guidance.
We cannot prepare for the rapture but wait for it to come or assume that it has already taken place.
